Solid pine pavilion in Norway
Ultimate beauty, this observation and information pavilion, isolated at 1,250 meters above sea level on the Dovrefjell mountain plateau near Hjerkinn, Norway. The lookout post can be reached via a 1.5 km long path and is made of pine beams of 25 x 25 cm diameter, steel roof girders and tempered glass. The undulations in the wall were obtained by milling these beams horizontally and vertically into the correct shapes with a CNC milling cutter.
