Production employee / junior furniture maker (24–40 hours)

At DroomHout, we create solid wooden furniture that lasts a lifetime. In our factory in Utrecht, design, craftsmanship, and machinery work together. We are looking for someone who thrives on this energy. Someone who wants to learn. And above all: someone who takes action.
You will contribute to the production of custom-made furniture. You will assist with preparation, processing, sanding, assembly, and finishing. You will learn the trade in practice. Step by step. With room to grow.

Who you are
You have a positive spirit and are a friendly team player.
You enjoy getting your hands dirty.
You work meticulously and think ahead.
You want to improve at what you create.
Experience or training in woodworking or furniture making is a plus. But we value eagerness to learn and commitment more than what you can already do.

What you get
24–40 hours per week.
Fixed working days, with flexibility where needed.

Content creator / design studio host (6–12 hours)

At DroomHout, we create solid wooden furniture that lasts a lifetime. In our design studio in Utrecht, design, craftsmanship, and clients come together. We are looking for someone who can tell that story. Visually. In text. And sometimes simply at a table with a client.

You will create content for our online channels. Photos, videos, social media, SEO, and sometimes SEA. You will show how our furniture is made and how it comes to life in clients' homes. Additionally, you will occasionally welcome clients to the studio and help them with their ideas.

Who you are
You have a sense of style, design, and aesthetics.
You enjoy taking beautiful photos, videos, or creating other content.
You write easily and think in stories.
You enjoy talking to clients.
An affinity for interior design, design, or architecture is a big plus.

What you get
6–12 hours per week.
Working days Thursday and Friday between 10:00 and 16:00.
Working in our design studio in Utrecht.
A creative role with a lot of freedom.
A place amidst a team of makers and designers.
