The Vegetable Garden Foundation in short
De Moestuin is a social enterprise on the east side of Utrecht. The Vegetable Garden started in 2002 and consists of an organic garden with a lunch café, vegetable garden shop, party and meeting location and a carpentry workshop.
Here they offer tailor-made solutions, social activation and reintegration through learning-work programs for people from psychiatry and addiction care. In addition to daytime activities, many volunteers work in the garden.
A visit to The vegetable garden is definitely worth it! The beautiful garden contains an antique grape greenhouse, a herb garden, an apiary and a large greenhouse. There is a playground and an animal meadow for the children. You can even throw your children's party in your own gypsy wagon!
