DroomHout for table inspection at C'est Ça: approved, with a snail to the side
Last week, the DroomHout team went out. Not for a holiday, though it almost felt like one, but for an on-site table inspection. Where? At C'est Ça in Utrecht, where our brand-new walnut wood tables have made their debut. And good news: they have been approved. By us, the chef, and, not unimportantly, the guinea fowl and monkfish.
New walnut tables on location
DroomHout tables are crafted with love in our workshop in Utrecht. For the stylish C'est Ça restaurant, we delivered beautiful custom-made walnut tables. Sleek design, warm color, and above all: made for years of dining and sharing stories.
But at DroomHout, we believe: measuring is knowing, and tasting is too. So, the team drove to the city center of Utrecht for a critical look and a good meal. We call that a win-win situation.

Monkfish on the plate, not under the walnut table
As soon as we sat down at the table, the "table inspection" naturally began immediately. Is the tabletop stable? How does the finish feel? Can the lacquer layer withstand an enthusiastic diner with a good glass of wine?
While we checked under the walnut table to ensure everything was sturdy, a dish was served above the table that raised some eyebrows: guinea fowl and monkfish. One team member quietly wondered if this creature from the sea wasn't just a myth. But to be fair: chef Raoul knows exactly what he's doing. The monkfish was effortlessly devoured, the guinea fowl almost melted away. And the walnut table? It stood proudly. Perfect work, if we do say so ourselves.

Thanks to the team in the workshop
Of course, also a thank you to the factory. Without our amazing team in the workshop, this would never have been possible. You can see that tabletop, every joint, and even the smallest details are made with care and attention. Thank you for your craftsmanship, precision, and loving handwork. You make it possible for us to proudly deliver such beautiful projects.
Chef at the table, from beginning to end
We would like to express our appreciation once again to chef Raoul from C'est Ça. His passion is palpable, and you feel it from the moment he stands at the table. Each dish was explained with care, which made the experience even more special. Tables are only truly successful when they are experienced and enjoyed, and that has undoubtedly been achieved here.

Conclusion: the table inspection is a success
The table inspection at C'est Ça was more than successful. The tables look fantastic and effortlessly support a five-course dinner and good conversation. We went home with full stomachs, satisfied faces, and a richer dining experience.
So: if you are in Utrecht soon, join us at C'est Ça. And take a good look at the table you are sitting at. Chances are it came from our workshop.
Salutations et bon appétit,
Team DroomHout
