It's so nice when your mirror doesn't fog up when you bathe or shower. The mirror heating ensures that your mirror remains nice and clear, so you don't have to clean it after a shower to be able to see. That's a nice luxury for just a few bucks more! Please note that the mirror can only be picked up due to the risk of damage to the mirror during transport.
