Renovating a table - how do I remove stains from my table?

You know it. You have that beautiful table that you use every day, and at some point you get your first stain in the table top. You simply place the fruit bowl or a bouquet of flowers on it so that you don't see anything anymore. But over time, more and more stains appear and they start to bother you. Time for action!

Sanding the table top - machine surface sanding against stains

If we run your stained table top through our wide belt sander, it will come out as new again. This treatment is suitable for all DroomWout tables from which the legs can be removed and which are not thicker than approximately 10 cm. Because that is nice, we also sand the side edges of your top (as they are straight and without relief) at the same time. Your table will improve enormously after this refresh and the wood will actually look like new again. An additional advantage is that any dents and/or scratches disappear immediately. Please note that this treatment is only possible on solid wooden tops from the DroomHout brand.

Table makeover: you do it or we do it?

And then finally, your table top must be treated with oil or varnish, of course. In this round too, you have the choice between doing it yourself or having it done by us. Oil is the quickest and most economical finish. Oil gives a very nice warm satin appearance. Or you go for the best protection. Then choose our matte clear 2-component lacquer. It is really strong and protects your table optimally. The great thing about this varnish is that it looks as if your wooden top is untreated, which looks super natural!

Your table looks like new again - full service

That super nice wide belt sander of ours is located in Utrecht, so your table or table top will of course have to go there for a while. You can do this yourself, we are happy to help you load and unload. But you can also outsource it completely to us. If this appeals to you, choose the option “including pick-up and delivery”, and we will arrange everything. And if you only want to bring the table top because a little more or less scratch doesn't matter, but you prefer to leave the delivery to a professional, that is also an option. Then choose exclusive pick-up including delivery.
